Is my photo uploaded to a server for AI processing?
No. The AI model runs entirely in your browser using ONNX Runtime Web. You can verify it yourself in your browser’s DevTools → Network tab — you will see zero upload requests while the background is removed.
What image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP as input. You can export the result as a transparent PNG, or as a JPG flattened onto a solid background colour of your choice.
How accurate is the background removal?
Excellent for product photos, headshots and simple backgrounds. Very complex scenes — busy backgrounds, glass, or fine hair blowing in the wind — may need minor touch-ups afterwards.
Can I remove backgrounds from multiple images at once?
Pro users get batch background removal, up to 20 images at a time on the Yearly plan (downloaded together as one ZIP). Free users process one image at a time, up to three per day.
Can I fix areas the AI missed?
Yes — Pro users get a brush tool to erase or restore any part of the mask, so you can clean up hair, fine edges or anything the AI over- or under-cut. It still runs 100% in your browser.
